A symphony of Armagnacs representing a unique assemblage from amongst the finest terroirs aged 10 to 13 years. A fruity Eau de Vie with hints of fig, quince and dried apricot laced with the cloves and vanilla, gratifying in the palette for an Armagnac of this age.

1994 Domaine de Pounon – Labastide d'Armagnac
An intense chestnut colour with golden reflections. The nose unveils a terroir of great quality with aromas of ripened fruits, vanilla and cinnamon with identical impressions upon the palette. Delicate hint of tannin and a gratifying aromatic complexity.

DOMAINE DE RIESTON - Perquie
The nose still a little elusive and requires a few minutes to express itself. Fruity aromas of quince, orange peel and plums reveal themselves – very rich in the palette and an overwhelming softness accompanied by explosive aromas. Great character and expression.

Despite its youth the nose of this Armagnac has already evolved. Aromas of honey, of wax, gingerbreadand toast dominate. For the palette the tannins are still youthful. An Armagnac in sharp contrast with the nose…… agreeable  aromatic complexities.

Attractive light chestnut colour and gilded reflections with the classical nose for an Armagnac of this age: Plum, dried apricot, honey and gingerbread. In the palette the sensation is soft, followed by an explosion of aromas reminiscent of the fruity nose……belle longeur….

DOMAINE DE BERTRUC – Frêche
A lovely, golden 'robe' with amber tints. Fine, pedrigreed nose marked by dried fruits (amandes, plum, figs) with aromas of lightly toasted tobacco and wheat. Supple sensation in the palette with smooth, elegant tannins.
Aromas of dried fruit: apricot, orange peel and figs. Superb!

Domaine de Jouanchicot - Mauléon d'Armagnac
A low intensity golden colour with a fine and delicate nose; the aromas of dried fruit, including apricot and almonds, combined with vanilla and liquorice spices are superb. On the palette, the tannins are silky smooth and very fruity to the nose of orange peel, prune and quince.

DOMAINE AUX DUCS – Bourdalat
Brilliant golden colour. Mature fruits, quince, mango, pine nut dominate the nose. Simultaneously, one senses the vanilla and mint then buttered caramel toward the end of the nose. Superb. Silky sensation' in the palette with smooth and delicate tannins. A lovely balance between the tannin, alchohol and aroma. A magnificent Bas Armagnac.

Strong and pedigreed 'nose. Aromas of lime flowers, quince and dried mandarins. A second nose, delicately woody; intense overtones of vanilla and leather. The palette is uncompromising with high grade silky tannins. Extended, lingering 'bouche'

DOMAINE DE PETIT LASSIS – Créon d'Armagnac
Golden hue with tawny reflections. A complex 'nez' with fruity aromas such a fizzy orange, peach and plum, with undertones of chocolate, liquorice and spicy toast. 'En bouche', the ageing elements are dominant : chocolate, rancio, walnuts, tobacco and leather.

Domaine de Bertruc – Frêche

Medium intensity golden colour with flashes of chestnut; a fine and subtle nose, aromas of zesty orange combined with dried apricot accompanied by fine spices. Silky, rounded tannins on the palette, dominated by aromas of fig, prune and apricot – superb!

Domaine de Salie – Frêche
The colour harvested wheat with a fruity nose, lightly wooded, unveiling the aromas of orange peel, peach and mango; the second nose is spicier, cloves and vanilla. The 'attack' on the palette is subtle followed by an explosion of aromas including fig, almond, quince and dried mandarin – wonderful length.

An immediate, very spicy 'nez' (cloves, white pepper). Needs to breathe; thereafter much more finesse in terms of prune, dried fig, tobacco and leather. Exuberant 'en bouche' with, again, the spices pepper and clove with overones of toast and tobacco.

Domaine de Jouatmou - Frêche
Intense chestnut colour and a nose of rich woodiness with liquorice, acacia and leather; left to breathe, the snifter will reveal an aroma of prunes. An Armagnac that is very dense and limpid on the palette with aromas of cocao and liquorice – very long in the palette.

Domaine au Ducs – Bourdalat
Traditional hues and a fruity, wonderfully complex nose with hints of clove, pepper and liquorice. On the palette, this eau-de-vie has perfect balance with silky tannins  and a lovely complexity of aromas – a truly classical Armagnac from the  'couer' of the apellation.

DOMAINE DE JOUATAOU – Frêche
An interesting, almost austere 'nez'. The aromas are of grilled (coffee, cocoa, leather) that dominate the fruit (plum and hazelnut) and the spices (liquorice). 'En bouche', well balanced between the tannins, the aromas (plum, liquorice, hazelnut and coffee) and alchohol, with spicy undertones 'en fin de bouche'.

A chestnut 'robe' with mahogany reflections. Very intense. Rich, quality, woody aromas of walnut, liquorice and prune. The tannins are abundant, generous on the palette and of a great quality, repeated liquorice aromas – very long on the residual sensations.

Lovely golden 'robe' with tawny reflects with a fine and fresh 'nez'. Subtle, woody aromas (acacia, pepper and liquorice) accompanied by rancio and truffles. 'En bouche' the tannins are silky and supple. Discover these same aromas in the 'nez'. An extended 'fin de bouche', very rancio (Madeira and walnuts).

A lovely golden colour with chestnut reflections. Very complex nose. Aromas of fig and prune accompanied by gingerbread, leather and clove. The palette snenses the rich, silky tannins; the balance between these latter, aroma and alchohol is extraordinary – a Grand Bas Armagnac!

The colour of chestnut laced with gold. The 'nez' is distinctive to the property: rich, frank and severe. Wodland aromas dominate; ripe liquorice, leather, tobacco, cocoa. 'En Bouche' the sensation is rich, the tannins, of very good quality, omnipresent.One senses aromas closely resembling those of the 'nez'. Extended, aromatic length.
